Hi, my name is Diky Halim
I design refined logos and visual identity systems built on clarity, structure, and meaning.
I am a graphic designer and art director with more than 20 years of experience across brand identity, packaging, and publication design.
Over the years, I have worked with companies and organisations including Garudafood, United Tractors, GS Yuasa, and Lippo Group. My clients have been based in Indonesia, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Singapore.
A Practice Shaped by Identity and Editorial Design
I began my career working on packaging and brand identity projects. My practice later expanded into publication design—from brochures and company profiles to biographies, photo books, and coffee-table books.
I was also part of the design and publication team for three exhibitions of the Indonesian Presidential Palace art collection at Galeri Nasional Indonesia between 2016 and 2018.
That may sound like a long detour from logo design. In fact, it shaped the way I approach it.
Working across identity and editorial design taught me to think carefully about typography, hierarchy, proportion, visual rhythm, and how individual elements work together as one coherent system.
Today, I bring that experience to logo and visual identity projects for corporate brands, established businesses, selected start-ups, and nonprofit organisations.
Why Identity Matters?
In a crowded market, a brand does not become recognisable simply by being louder. It becomes recognisable by being clear, distinctive, and consistent.
A well-designed identity helps people understand what a brand represents. It creates recognition, builds familiarity and trust, and gives the business a consistent visual foundation across every touchpoint.
A logo alone cannot build a great brand. But the right logo and identity system can give that brand a strong and credible presence.
How I Work
Every project begins with understanding—not styling.
I take the time to learn about the business, its audience, positioning, character, and ambitions. From there, I explore ideas through research and sketching before developing the most relevant direction.
My approach is simple and direct: no unnecessary branding jargon, just clear thinking, informed decisions, and careful craft.
The goal is not simply to create a beautiful logo. It is to build a distinctive identity that communicates meaning and works with confidence wherever it appears.
I believe every authentic brand deserves an identity that represents it with clarity and distinction.

Clients Testimonials
It makes me happy to be able to recommend Diky for design work, as I know that he is genuinely dedicated to being a creative leader in all his endeavours. I have been working with Diky for more than a decade. From the start, Diky was a driving force of design innovation for my books and company. Diky’s incredible grasp of the nuances of the creative industry, combined with his work ethic, greatly improved our company’s branding, quality of product, and client interactions. Is another example needed? Diky excelled in the layout and graphic design of my book Mining and the Environment – From Ore to Metal, now in its second edition, widely praised for the informative presentation of technical matters.
I have always believed in the breadth of insight, absolute freedom, and the ability to ‘listen’ when the creative process takes place. Diky has all these foundations when interpreting ideas into communicative visual works without losing his touch and artistic taste. I’m always satisfied and happy and appreciate all the results of the graphic designs that he creates. Bravo, buddy! (profile photo: Darwis Triadi)
Diky has provided creative materials for my business since my company was a small startup. The design gives me an edge in showing the professional image of my business and a strong focus on my business skills in technology.
With color direction, typography, and basic objects that represent corporate entities, I can use them consistently in all presentations and design materials to this day.
I have known and worked with Diky for a number of years both on a professional level and in a personal capacity. His work is always of high quality and demonstrates exceptional design capabilities, I can highly recommend his services. Just two examples. His design of the Wallace Foundation logo in the UK. And the design and printing of the book of my life entitled ‘Where My Steps Have Been’, 387 pages in all.
I knew Diky from a close friend who got me interested to get engaged with him after I saw how Diky successfully designed and integrated all the different aspects of my friend’s company business profile. As soon as I began my first meeting with him, I knew he is the right person. Not only does Diky listen to your needs and expectation, but he can also understand your needs and expectations. He is also very generous with his idea and able to direct your mind to a better conclusion. Needless to say, I am very satisfied with his work
We have been working with Diky for the past seven years and are always satisfied with his work. Diky always provides good quality graphic design services.
Communicating ideas and expectations to Diky is always easy, and he can always enrich design ideas to make them stand out.
